The Kapre Jeepney Food Truck

The Kapre Jeepney Food Truck

A jeepney is a popular and iconic form of public transportation in the Philippines, originating from repurposed US military jeeps after World War II, now known for their colourful decorations and kitsch designs. So, at the Kapre we have taken it one stage further with the one and only on Panglao: The Kapre Jeepney Food Truck selling some delicious streetfood style dishes you can consume with a single hand, leaving the other one free for our delicious frozen margaritas. Look out for her across the island, and maybe even jump in the back and we’ll give you a lift to the restaurant.

The Kapre Jeepney Food Truck – Street Food with a Supernatural Twist!

What do you get when you take a classic Filipino Jeepney, pack it with a roaring flat-top, throw in some Filipino-Korean-Japanese fusion magic, and add frozen margaritas? You get the Kapre Jeepney Food Truck, the wildest roadside feast on wheels in the Philippines! 🚛🔥

Parked right under the legendary Balete Tree at The Kapre Restaurant & Bar and driving across Panglao Island, this pimped-up-jeepney isn’t just a feast for your stomach—it’s a feast for your eyes. Bright colours, neon lights, and a menu packed with handheld street food snacks, with icy cold margaritas all served food-truck-style.

The best part? Late-night eats, beats, and maybe… a little supernatural company? 🌙👀 You may even see the Kapre himself cooking from the van – we had to lift the roof by 3″ so he could stand up.. But don’t worry—he only steals bites, never whole meals. (we think.). So grab your food from the hatch, find a spot under the Balete, and let the Kapre Jeepney Food Truck take you on a flavour road trip like no other on Panglao! 🚀🌮 Look for her outside the restaurant but also across the island. She’ll be parked up serving:

  1. Kapre’s Pockets: Toasted brioche bread stuffed with:
    • Sisig,
    • Kimchi Sisig, or
    • Corned Beef Hash
  2. Kapre’s Fingers: Spicy and Crunchy with Filipino Spicy Vinegar Reduction:
